    Expanding Design for Sustainable Transitions

In his talk, Christian will address how and why design as a discipline needs to be expanded to address the most urgent, complex challenges of our time. Drawing on his recent book, “Expand: Stretching the Future by Design”, he will suggest six ways of reimagining design for sustainable transitions, spanning the “expansions" Time, Proximity, Life, Value, Dimensions and Sectors. Further, Christian will show how design practices and sensibilities can be used to enable long-term missions, allowing firms to co-create new value across actor ecosystems. Finally, he will reflect on the organisational implications of leading and managing such missions.

    Brand Experience Anno 2025

Bo and Philip Linnemann will share their perspective on why long-term brand building matters more than ever in today’s complex brand landscape. They will reflect on how brand experiences have evolved — from simple visual identities to large-scale orchestrations spanning many creative disciplines — and why the craft behind them remains essential for trust, recognition, and relevance.

The talk explores the power of a clear brand promise, the need to uphold it consistently across every touchpoint, and how to stay distinctive in a world where many brands start to look and feel alike. Drawing on decades of experience, Bo and Philip will show how thoughtful design, storytelling, and orchestration can help brands build lasting value and remain unmistakably themselves over time.

Improvise to Empathise: Human Superpower in the Age of AI

As artificial intelligence reshapes the design landscape, our innate human ability to empathise is more critical than ever. Empathy isn't just a buzzword; it's the most powerful tool in a designer's toolkit—it's what allows us to truly understand the people we're designing for.

This workshop goes beyond theory. Using proven improvisation techniques and games, we'll practice listening more deeply and seeing the world through another's eyes. You'll learn to embody a person's experience, not just think about it. Join me for a safe, playful, and fun session that will remind you of your unique humanness and why it's your ultimate superpower.

AI in Product Operation: Strategy Agents, Synthetic Users, Auto Priorization and Dev Agents

A look at how Trifork in 2023 deployed LEGO's first talking AI agent minifigure in LEGO house, work that led our path to rethinking the future product operating model that leverages sub-agent AI architecture to reshape how product teams work. Many classic Agile rituals may be significantly reduced, as orchestration of AI sub-agents replaces much of the coordination overhead—freeing humans to focus on vision, coherence, and values.

From Problem to Prototype: Exploring Advanced AI-Driven Vibe Prototyping at Maersk

This workshop puts participants in the driver’s seat of AI-powered prototyping. Working with real Maersk problem statements and business opportunities, a lightweight BRD, and selected user insights, teams will learn how to craft effective prompts for Figma Make. They will then generate prototypes, define what success looks like and which metrics would signal progress, reflect on their process, and present results to the group. The session demonstrates how AI can accelerate early design exploration and provide a new lens for evaluating opportunities.

    Three key takeaways
How to transform structured briefs (problem statement + BRD + insights) into effective AI prototyping prompts.
Hands-on experience using Figma Make for rapid, vibe-driven prototyping.
How to define success criteria and identify metrics that indicate when a prototype is moving in the right direction.

    What you’ll need
    Figma Make access
Intermediate knowledge of Figma Make and prompt-based prototyping (no introduction to Figma Make will be made)

    Research Murder Mystery

Step into the role of detectives in a high-stakes investigation where the victim isn’t a person, but a failed product. A once-promising travel app has mysteriously collapsed at launch — users fled, reviews tanked, and investors are furious. Your mission? Solve the case.

Over the course of two hours, you and your team will sift through evidence and piece together the truth behind the product’s demise. Every clue reflects the reality of product development and by the end, the detectives (that’s you) must present your theory of the crime: Who killed the product, and how could you have saved it?

    Three key takeaways
Learn how to identify assumptions vs data based product decisions
Learn about the various types of research involved in product development
Learn where and when AI can be useful in research and stakeholder engagement
